Helsingin Mylly jatkaa Pelastakaa Lasten pitkäaikaista tukemista jouluna 2025
Myllärin-tuotteita valmistava Helsingin Mylly on tukenut Pelastakaa Lasten toimintaa jo pitkään. Merkityksellinen yhteistyö jatkuu tänäkin jouluna Helsingin Myllyn 10 000 euron lahjoituksella Anna lahjaksi tulevaisuus -joulukeräykseen.
Helsinki Mills, the producer of Myllärin products, has supported Save the Children Finland for many years. This meaningful partnership continues once again this Christmas, as Helsinki Mills donates €10,000 to the Give a Gift of the Future Christmas campaign.
The donation helps low-income children and young people at risk of social exclusion in Finland by providing, for example, grocery gift cards and financial support for hobbies.
The number of children living in low-income families in Finland is growing at a record pace. Currently, more than 120,000 children live in low-income households, and due to cuts in social security, this number is estimated to increase by nearly 30,000. At the same time, families’ hardships deepen, and more and more children experience shortages—even of food.
A Family-Owned Company Committed to Helping Children
Helsinki Mills is a Finnish family business with responsibility at the core of its operations. For many years, it has been a principle of the company to direct part of its positive annual result to the common good.
This year, the donation target was chosen through a staff vote. Out of four alternatives, employees selected support for low-income families provided through Save the Children Finland.

Food and everyday security are the foundation of Finnish wellbeing, which is why we consider it important to support families facing financial hardship. Save the Children Finland understands the reality of families across the country and can direct aid precisely where it is needed most,” says Niklas Kumlin, CEO of Helsinki Mills.

Responsibility All Year Round
In addition to the Christmas donation, Helsinki Mills supports its local communities throughout the year by donating products to clubs, associations, and charitable organisations in its mill locations in Järvenpää, Närpiö and Vaasa.
